Stock History, Batch/Lot Numbers & Product Expiry Tracking

Prevent selling expired stock and maintain full batch traceability for audits.

1. Enabling Lot Numbers & Expiry Dates

1. In Settings > Business Settings > Product, check:
   • Enable Lot Number
   • Enable Product Expiry (Stop selling expired items X days before expiry).
2. When recording purchase bills, enter the distributor Batch/Lot Number and Expiry Date (MM/YYYY).
3. At the POS counter, items are billed using FIFO / FEFO (First Expired, First Out).
