Yes. Oasis POS is built for fast counter retail in India. Navigation works cleanly via mouse or keyboard number pad shortcuts. Try a sample sale with your staff and confirm the training needed for your setup.
Do I need a barcode scanner for loose items like rice and dal?
No. Packaged FMCG items scan via barcode, while loose items (grains, pulses, sugar, tamarind) can be selected via shortcut keys, product codes, or quick search by name.
Does the software require an internet connection to bill? What are its offline limitations?
Offline operation is available through the supported Oasis Windows and Android application. It varies by product and edition. Ask us to demonstrate billing with the internet disconnected on the edition and hardware you plan to use, and confirm which functions need a connection.
Can I connect an electronic weighing scale?
