Cash Register Opening Floats & Shift Closing Z-Reports

Prevent counter cash leakage with strict shift opening and closing procedures.

1. Register Opening

1. Cashier logs in at shift start.
2. Enters opening petty cash float (e.g. ₹2,000 in change coins/notes).
3. Clicks Open Register.

2. Register Closing (Z-Report)

1. At store closing, click Close Register.
2. Count physical cash in the drawer and enter:
   • Total Physical Cash Count
   • Total Card Swipe Slips
   • Total UPI Settlements
3. Oasis POS calculates total sales, expenses, and displays any Difference / Variance (Surplus or Shortage).
4. Print the Z-Report summary slip for store manager handover.
