Suspended Sales & Queue Parking (F8 Hold Feature)

Prevent counter congestion when a customer leaves the queue to pick up another grocery item.

1. Holding a Sale

1. With items in the cart, press F8 (Hold).
2. Enter an optional note (e.g. "Customer gone to get milk").
3. The screen clears immediately, allowing you to bill the next customer.

2. Resuming a Held Sale

1. When the customer returns, click View Suspended Sales (or press Shift+F8).
2. Click Resume on the held cart—all scanned items restore to the screen instantly.
