Roles & Granular Permissions: Cashier, Manager & Accountant

Role-based access control ensures strict security on your billing terminals.

1. Creating & Editing Roles

1. Go to User Management > Roles > Add Role.
2. Enter Role Name (e.g. Junior Cashier).
3. Configure checkboxes across modules:
   • POS Screen: View POS screen, Create sales.
   • Discount Rights: Disable manual discount to prevent cashiers from giving unauthorized discounts.
   • Price Override: Disable selling price editing at checkout.
   • Purchases & Cost: Hide Purchase Price so cashiers only see selling prices and MRP.
   • Reports: Uncheck Profit/Loss and Tax reports.
4. Click Save.
